- The design of the Godean Traditional Market is a two-story building designed for the 2020 competition by the team of Ahmad Zaky, Bonivasius, Faisal Darmawan, Fahmi Akrom, and Mukhlasin Riswanto. Carrying a modern tropical architectural approach, this design combines the function of a traditional market with contemporary aesthetics through the use of vertical grid elements, rooftop vegetation, and large openings for natural lighting and ventilation. The elongated building mass is arranged dynamically with a play of planes and materials, creating a healthier, more comfortable, and integrated shopping environment with the surrounding nature.
